If you are having problems adding the code, please check the instructions below. The most common problem is that people forget they have to physically place the Aviation Top 100 logo (the gif) in the same folder as the page where they are placing the code. If failing to do so you will see an empty box where the Logo is supposed to show.

Select the HTML editor you are using to ad your code:

Adobe GoLive 4.0


Use the following procedure for Adobe GoLive 4.0.

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
Open your page in Adobe GoLive 4.0.
Click 'Source' in the menu.
Insert the Aviation Top 100 HTML Code between the <body> and </body> tag's.
Select 'Preview' in the menu to test the result and save your page afterwards.
Note: Don't move the Logo in any of the other modes (Like fx. 'Layout') after you have inserted the code. This will modify the Aviation Top 100 code and result in script error on the page when it is displayed in a browser.

Dreamweaver 4.0

Dreamweaver 4, will following installation change the placement and modify the Aviation Top 100 Code. Follow this to avoid it :

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
EDIT --> PREFERENCES
Click "Code Rewriting"
UN-check both:
fix invalidly nested and unclosed tags
remove extra closing tags
The Checkbox "warn when fixing or removing tags" will automatically be deselected when doing this.

After this insert the Aviation Top 100 code in the HTML window:


Click on the "<>" button to switch to Code condition.
OR, select VIEW --> CODE
Make sure to remove old Aviation Top 100 code.
Insert the Aviation Top 100 code between <body> and </body> .
Take a look at the page in your browser to make sure the code is inserted correctly.
Save the file.

Note: After the code has been inserted, don't move it in any of the other modes, since this will modify the code and make it stop counting. If you want to move the Logo you need to remove it completely and then follow the above steps.

HomeSite 4.5


HomeSite 4.5 Shouldn't have any problems with the code, but if you experience any follow this:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
Open the Edit window.
Copy the Aviation Top 100 Code.
Insert the code between the <body> </body> tags in the document.

HOTDOG PROFESSIONAL 5.5

HotDog Professional 5.5 Shouldn't have any problems with the code, but if you experience any follow this:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
Insert the code between the <body> </body> tags in the document.
Click 'External Preview' in the "File" Toolbar or press (F9) and select a browser in which to view the page.

Microsoft FrontPage

Follow this:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
Show the page in "Normal" mode.
Place the cursor where you want the Logo to be
Click "Insert" on the menu.
Click "FrontPage Component…"
Click "Insert HTML"
Insert the Aviation Top 100 code between the <body> and </body> tags:
Click "Ok"

Microsoft FrontPage 2000

If you edit your pages with FrontPage 2000 and experience problems with the stats it is most likely because Fromtpage has modified the code. Remove the code completely and follow the steps below:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
View your page in 'Design View' (default view).
Click at the bottum of the page.
Click Insert > Advanced and select "HTML".
Place the cursor where you would like to insert the Logo.
Insert the Aviation Top 100 code between the <body> and </body> tags:
Click "Ok"

Net Object Fusion 4.0
Net Object Fusion 4.0 Shouldn't have any problems with the code, but if you experience any follow this:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
Click "Layout Properties"
Click the "HTML" button
Click "Beginning of Body"
Insert the Aviation Top 100 code in the text box and click "Ok"

Net Object Fusion 5.0
If you experience problems inserting the Aviation Top 100 code using NetObjects Fusion 5.0, then follow this:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
Open your page in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.
Click 'HTML Source'.
Insert the Aviation Top 100 code between the <body> and </body> .
Click 'Page Preview' .
Save the page.
You will now be able to se the placement of the Aviation Top 100 Logo using the 'Page Preview' mode.
Note: If you want to change the placement of the logo, then switch to 'HTML Source', remove the old code and insert again the new place in the HTML code.

Page Mill 3.0

If you edit your pages with Page Mill 3.0 and experience problems with the stats it is most likely because Page Mill 3.0 has modified the code. Remove the code completely and follow the steps bellow:

Right click on the Aviation Top 100 Logo you want to use. Select 'Save as' and save it in the same folder as the page where you are wanting to place the code.
On the chosen page in Page Mill, click "View" from the Dropdown menu and click "Source Mode".
Insert the Aviation Top 100 code between the tags.
Save the file.
You can see your corrections by clicking the "View" dropdown menu and click on "Switch To" and then either "Netscape" or "Internet Explorer".
