I just started training for a private pilot license.
I found a book on Amazon.com called
"Airplane Trivia" which I found helpful.
Can anyone recommend any other
test or quiz books for a beginner?

Search from internet free e-book sites.It is very useful for the beginners.

I am suggesting these books to you: Airplane Flying Handbook and Student Pilot Guide.

I had no prior experience and went to a weekend class on private knowledge held by Pilot Training Solutions in Morristown, New Jersey. Although it was mainly aimed at the written, it did help quite a bit (keep in mind that I am a high school teacher).
I believe they do not hold these classes anymore, but they do offer interactive courses that you can download to your computer. Some are free and some require purchase.
