    Help with pinout on a Vintage Capacitor type Fuelgage (By Avien 162-043-161)

    Hi, I have searched the web far and wide for any information on this gage or the name of the type of connection .

    I know that typical avionic fuel gages use a minimum of 3 wires
    Here is all i can extract from it :
    -Avien
    -specification # AN-G-31a
    -part # :162-043-161
    -Ser #: 94247 (not helpful)

    this device has 10 pins.

    it seems that it would be able to fit this connector :
    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380180926920&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

    made by Amphenol.

    here is crude ascii art to show the pin out

               ^ (Key)
             *  *
          *   *    *
          *   *    *
             *  *
    Running a multimeter to check for continuity i found that the 1st 3 pins are somewhat connected (from key Clockwise)  , and the last pin and the bottom center pin is also somewhat connected.

    any help will be much appreciated .
