i was wondering if a person who is paralized can become a pilot.

the reason i ask is because i am paralized and i've always dreamed of becoming one. i seriously doubt that it is possible to become a pilot with the air force or with the navy since i wouldn't be able to complete or even enter basic training.

I don't know if thats possable, because of the aircraft pedals and the PT. But you might want to request more info from the air force or navy. Still you might be able to do something with aircraft if not fly them, like navigate for a airliner or do air traffic control. I wish you luck in flying.......

I really hate the break the news... but there is no chance of becoming a pilot.  You won't pass the FC-1.  This is a flight physical that tests everything and anything medically wrong with a person.  They won't even let a person missing a finger become a pilot.  Fighter pilots have to be in top physical conditioning and able to move flawlessly.  However, there are alternative rewarding routes to take that have to do with aviation.  Explore your options and I wish you the best of luck.
