I have a 1979 182, original paint, new leather seats, new carpeting, 3000+/- total time, 130 hours since new COntinental reman, new windshield.  A little damage history in 1982 tail was hit by vehicle on field.  Never had a problem with it, own since 2004.  It has extended tanks, IFR certified, Loran, Dual VOR, DME, ADF, Autopilot, ...
