1. Swiss International Airlines (Swiss) is accepted to join Oneworld Alliance since 23 Sep 2003.

3. Cathay Pacific is going to add flights. Services to Rome will increase from 4 to 5 a week. Melbourne will step up from 11 to 13 weekly flights and Auckland will go from 10 to 12 services a week. And from 1 December one more weekly service will operate to Johannesburg, taking it to 6 flights a week.

7. Cathay Pacific Airways announced on 21 Oct 2003 that it intends to commence services to Beijing from Tuesday 2 December 2003, departing from Hong Kong at 17:50 every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday, and arrive Beijing at 21:00 of the same day. Filghts depart from Beijing at 08:00 every Monday, Wednesday & Friday, and arrive Hong Kong at 11:35 of the same day.

But I don't think such frequnecy can attract passengers. Cathay Pacific should operate at least 3 faily flights to Beijing if it wants to attract passengers.
8. Cathay Pacific Airways announced an increase in the number of cities in the United States to which it will operate codeshare flights with oneworld alliance partner American Airlines on 16 Sep 2003, including Nashville, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Raleigh Durham and Tampa.
