V. Important, Please read!!

ATTENTION: Flight Simulation Enthusiasts.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could devote a few minutes of your time to post a reply to this topic. At the moment a new company by the name of Vortex Aviation is in the process of establishing itself on the market. This company is going to provide courses in aviation studies. It will offer a selection of different online aviation related courses to the public at afforadble prices. The courses will be based on real FAA approved training programs and will be aimed at the simulation/desktop pilot or aspiring pilot.

An example of some of the courses offered are:

PPL (Private Pilot License)
IMC (Instrument Meterological conditons rating) (IFR)
CPL (Comercial Private License)
ATPL (Airline Transport Pilots License)

and many more including aircraft transition training and Garmin GPS courses, FMC courses etc.

All these courses will include comprehensive text books and videos/simulator lessons. The text books for each course will comprise of:

Aeronuatical Knowledge areas text book
Practical Test Guide
Question Booklet
Answer Booklet

The courses will be available for download at pirces ranging from $20 upwards. This includes videos, books in pdf format and simulator lessons.

However the courses will also be offered as hard copies at higher prices (approx: $30). The hardcopies would be shipped and consist of hardcover books (with copies on cd), videos (either vhs, vcd or dvd format) and the simulator lessons on cd.
